Clane Local History Group would like to announce the launch of the second edition of our annual historical journal “Coiseanna” in the GAA Centre, Prosperous Road, Clane on Wednesday April 17th 2013 at 8.00pm. The launch will be performed by Mr Des Marron, Mayor of Clane. This edition which runs to 124 pages is priced at €5 and contains a great variety of articles on notable people, places and events in Clane’s long and diverse history. This journal, like our first edition published in April last year will appeal to all residents of Clane and to historians from further afield who are interested in the history and heritage of Clane and its environs.
